HEALTH & WELL-BEING

CAWA runs a number of programs concerning family well-being, specifically mother and child. We aim to provide Arab women with effective parenting skills and techniques, as well as educate our community on a number of topics that affect them, their children, and the family unit as a whole.

One of the topics CAWA aims to discuss is domestic violence in marital relationships. As this is a topic that is often stigmatized in the Middle East and as a result, in the Canadian Arab community, we are committed to conveying important information in a way that is culturally sensitive and therefore effective.
